Traverse through the vast rock formations, leading you to the northern expanse of Meteora. On this side, you'll uncover the concealed Ypapanti monastery and the remnants of St. Dimitrios. Immerse yourself in the tales and legends that accompany each site along the trail, where the thousand years of history come to life through the enthralling narratives of our knowledgeable local mountain guides. Subsequently, explore the renowned monastic complexes of either Great Meteoron or Varlaam, and then descend along the age-old footpath trodden by monks for centuries. You are entitled to 75% of the booking amount up to 48 hours and 50% of the booking amount up to 24 hours.
Visitors and pilgrims are required to follow a dress code in order to enter the monasteries. Women must wear a skirt (reaching below the knee) and have their shoulders covered. Men must wear long pants (preferably) or shorts (reaching below the knee) and have their shoulders covered, as well.

The monasteries that we visit is not always the same since their hours vary and some of them are closed on certain days. Usually, the monasteries we visit are: the Great Meteoro or Varlaam.
Entrance to the monasteries requires a specific attire. For women, it is forbidden to wear skirts above the knee, trousers, shorts, as well as sleeveless tops. For men, sleeveless tops and shorts above the knee are prohibited.
The Holy Monastery of Saint Stephen is connected by an accessible bridge, making it the most easily accessible monastery. The Holy Monastery of Roussanou, the Holy Monastery of Varlaam and the Holy Monastery of St. Nikolaos of Anapafsas have approximately 140 steps. Finally, the monastery of the Holy Trinity and the Great Meteoro are the most difficult to reach monasteries, since their steps exceed 300.
All monasteries have an entrance fee of €3, per person. Children up to 12 years old do not pay a ticket to the monasteries.
